Pre-AMP is a weekly mentorship program for students ages 11-14 with previous musical experience. Each week participants collaborate, write, record, and further explore musical concepts with peers and professional working musicians. Sessions often include rehearsals for upcoming performances, recording, songwriting, and collaborative jam sessions. This program is a precursor to AMP (Artist-in-Mentorship) with a focus on personal development and musical skills. Students must be willing to collaborate with a diverse group of participants with varying degrees of musical levels and experience – attitude is everything!
